Celebrating Madam Cyprin

On March 1st, Huma Primary School threw a wonderful Thanksgiving Celebration for  Madam Cyprin, who has been a teacher at Huma for more than 30 years and has served as our Link Teacher at Huma since it became a partner school.

She says, “I watched the effect that the Umoja Project had on their students: increased attendance, increased performance, and increased enrollment. Students from Magada cross the river and pass closer schools to come to Huma because of the Umoja Project.”

The project could not provide the services that we do without dedicated link teachers who identify the orphaned and vulnerable children and monitor their progress.

Thank you for your service to the Umoja scholars!
